How to Use

• Remove both screws from your KeySmart
• Remove the back plate, loop piece, and spaces and set aside. Lay your KeySmart face down with posts up
  • Tip: Lay out your keys before you begin assembling to ensure an even stack on each side
• Stack your keys onto the post. You can fit up to four keys on each side
• Place the back plate on top of the keys and secure each side with the included screw
  • Tip: If you have an uneven amount of keys, use spacers to make sure the plates are even
• Connectivity:
  • The KeySmart Original is a mechanical key holder only
  • It does not connect to the Apple Find My app or any tracking service

Care Instructions

• Everyday use:
  • Keep keys balanced on both sides so the holder opens smoothly
  • Don’t overtighten the screws—snug is enough
• Cleaning:
  • Wipe the outside with a soft cloth (dry or lightly dampened with water)
  • Use a toothbrush or compressed air to clean dust between keys and spacers
  • Dry immediately if it gets wet
• Maintenance:
  • Check screws every few weeks—retighten if they loosen
  • If screws feel stiff, add a tiny drop of light oil (wipe away any excess)
• What to avoid:
  • Don’t use bleach, acetone, or harsh chemicals
  • Don’t scrub with rough pads—it can scratch the finish
  • Avoid leaving it in extreme heat or moisture
• Good habits:
  • Disassemble and clean if dirt builds up
  • Keep car fobs or bulky items on the loop ring instead of squeezing inside
  • Inspect parts occasionally and replace worn spacers or screws if needed
