How to Use

• Before you begin:
  • Fully charge the KeySmart iPro. While charging, the LED indicator will glow orange; when fully charged, it turns green
  • Use iPhone/iPad with iOS version that supports Find My (iOS 14.3 or later recommended)
• Steps to connect:
  • Press and release the Find My button on the KeySmart iPro (a quick press)
  • The device will beep once and its LED will flash green to indicate it's on and ready to pair
  • On your iOS device, open the Find My app
  • Tap the “+” button
  • Select “Add Other Item” from the menu
  • The KeySmart iPro should appear in the list of items. Tap it to connect/pair
  • You can then assign a custom name and icon to your keys
  • After pairing, your KeySmart iPro will show up in the Items tab of the Find My app
• How to assemble the KeySmart iPro/add your keys:
  • Disassemble the unit:
    • Remove the screws that hold the plates together and detach the back plate
    • Remove and set aside the spacers
  • Lay out your keys:
    • Plan how you’ll stack them so both sides are relatively balanced in height
    • Align the holes of your keys over the posts
    • Use spacers between keys as needed to ensure both sides stack evenly and the plates will fit flush
  • Re-attach the front/back plates:
    • Once your keys are in place and spacing is good, place the back plate (or front plate, depending on your orientation) back on top
    • Align everything carefully and insert the screws. Secure the screws. Do not overtighten
  • Add accessories: Use the included loop ring/bottle opener to attach a car key fob or larger accessories to the outside
  • Fold and test:
    • Fold the keys inward so they stack inside the body of the KeySmart
    • Check that nothing is binding or rubbing too tightly
    • Make sure the Find My button is accessible
  • Power on/final check:
    • Press the Find My button briefly to power on and pair with your Apple device as described above
    • Confirm the Find My connection is working
    • Make sure the keys rotate smoothly within the organizer

Care Instructions

• Cleaning:
  • Wipe with a soft, dry cloth
  • Use a toothbrush or compressed air for dust
  • If wet, dry it completely before use
• Maintenance:
  • Check screws now and then—tighten if loose
  • Add a tiny drop of oil to screws if stiff (wipe off extra)
• Avoid:
  • Don’t soak in water
  • Don’t use harsh cleaners or rough pads
  • Don’t leave in extreme heat or cold
